Giant Optical Cable, from America to Japan

From the time the great pyramids were made, to today’s recent technological advances, on June 30 2016, Google and its partners completed direct link using a 9012 km long wire to Japan, across the pacific ocean. This optical cable runs beneath the ocean, and can transfer speeds up to 60 Terabytes a second.
